Keep gambling controlled with limits that act before harm grows

Last updated: August 14, 2026

We treat responsible gambling as an account function, not a slogan. Casino games and sports betting involve financial risk, outcomes are uncertain and losses cannot be recovered by increasing stakes. Our tools help you control deposits, losses, wagering, session length, marketing and account access. Use them before gambling begins to affect money, time, relationships or wellbeing.

Gambling is entertainment, never income

A win is never guaranteed and previous outcomes do not make the next result more predictable. Do not gamble with money needed for housing, food, bills, debt, healthcare or savings. Set a budget as an entertainment cost, avoid borrowing and never chase a loss.

Age and account eligibility

Only adults who meet the legal gambling age may register. We verify identity and age and can request additional documents. Parents and guardians should use device filtering, app controls and payment restrictions to prevent underage access.

How changes to limits are handled

A request to lower a limit should take effect promptly. A request to increase or remove a protective limit can be delayed by a cooling period and may require confirmation. This prevents an immediate decision made during a high-risk session from overriding an earlier boundary.

Signs that gambling is causing harm

  • Spending more money or time than planned.
  • Chasing losses or raising stakes to recover money.
  • Borrowing, selling possessions or missing bills to gamble.
  • Hiding account activity from family or friends.
  • Feeling anxious, angry or unable to stop.
  • Allowing gambling to affect sleep, work, study or relationships.

A private self-assessment

Ask whether you regularly exceed a budget, return immediately after losses, think about gambling throughout the day, conceal spending, borrow money, neglect obligations or use gambling to escape stress. One serious concern is enough to set limits, take a break and seek independent support.

Common myths that increase risk

MythReality
A losing run must end soonIndependent results do not become due
A larger stake will recover lossesIt increases the amount at risk
A system guarantees profitNo betting system removes house edge or uncertainty
Borrowed money can be repaid with a winA loss can deepen debt and financial harm

Cooling-off, self-exclusion and account closure

Use cooling-off for a defined temporary break. Use self-exclusion when a stronger block is needed. During exclusion, do not attempt to open another account. Account closure can be requested through support, but self-exclusion is the appropriate route where gambling harm is involved because it activates protective handling and marketing suppression.

Financial and device blocking tools

Combine account limits with bank gambling blocks, card controls and independent software such as Gamban or BetBlocker. These layers reduce the opportunity to switch operators or payment routes during an urge to gamble.
